Heroes Rise, one hundred seventh entry: Kids In Spaaaaaaaaaace!

Heroes Rise

Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the one hundred seventh entry into our chronicle, recorded on Saturday February 15th, and released Wednesday February 19th over at heroesrisepodcast.com.

Lennon got sucked into a portal while he was trying to get to Eberron, so we had to drag Mikey out of the cave to temporarily host for us.

In this week’s Adventurer’s Pack, we have a brand new TTRPG kickstarter, and instead of us telling you about it, we’ve got the creator here to do it for us. Next we check out some D&D News as we cover:

  • Some Sage Advice rulings from Jeremy Crawford on Twitter
  • And the latest news on Baldur’s Gate 3

After that we take a Short Rest and head into the Archives of Candlekeep for the final part of our Planar Tour, this time stopping by the Outer Planes; before finally heading over to the Scrying Pool to see what you have to say.

This Week’s Community Questions

Do you think Jeremy’s answers make sense in light of the rules being discussed? Have you encountered any of those scenarios yourself, and did you rule the way Jeremy did?

What other planes have you adventured on in 5th edition? Has it only been Avernus because of the module, or has your DM taken you to any of the more exotic dimensions?

Heroes Rise are always on the lookout for new team members that have a passion for Dungeons and Dragons. Please know that all of our positions are volunteer, but we do offer a well known outlet for your work. If you have a particular skill that you believe could enhance our content, then send your contact information and experience to [email protected]

This Week’s Community Questions

Have you used the Blood Hunter class in the past? How did it work for you? Do you think the improved version is a better solution or are you sticking with the classic version?

So we have three new subclasses from Wizards. What’s your favorite one? Do you think there’s some power creep going on with the mechanics, or is Ostron imagining his things coming to life.

This Week’s Community Questions

What D&D video games are you hoping to see debut over the next five years? Do you want all RPGs? Maybe some strategy or first person games? Or should everyone be flinging cards across digital tabletops?

Feats – Do you use them? What are your favorites? Do your feat choices conform to the data from D&D Beyond, or do you buck the trend and choose something different?
