Chances are, you already know someone with endometriosis yet we fail to get into the crux of the cause, the effect, and the severity associated with it. So let's open this Pandora's box and know more about what endometriosis is, why it happens, what one suffers from, and what are certain myths around this condition.

Women's Day- Why am I here?
Today, I am sharing with you the idea behind this podcast and my thoughts on Women's day.
Even with decades of notable progress and significant gains on the international forum, women and vulva owners—both in India and around the world— still find gender equality elusive. Women exercising or even seeking their basic rights is interpreted as a direct and destabilizing challenge to existing power structures. Regardless of a woman’s education or abilities or experience, the patriarchal nature fosters the perception that women are less competent and less qualified than men. Honestly, it is not possible to name just one challenge, one issue, or one forgotten right, but it becomes necessary for me, as a Gynec, and for you too, to reflect on it, speak about it, and make a change one at a time.

Endometriosis- Navigating the challenges
Today, I carry on from the previous episode and talk to you about the diagnosis and management of endometriosis. It can be a difficult illness to tackle, both physically and mentally. Finding a right doctor or someone with whom you feel comfortable and who understands your journey with this disease becomes important. Painkillers or hormone therapy or surgery, whatever it may be, the eventual aim is to reduce your symptoms and enhance your quality of life.
