Why did you start this show?

We all loved playing ttrpgs and didn't have enough time to play everything - so we thought this would be a great way to force us to play! We wanted to explore how a family-friendly podcast could function in the actual play arena, and so Guaranteed Adventures was born!

What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?

We wanted to create content you could listen to with the whole family! We want this to be an easy listen and doesn't take too much of a commitment. We plan to keep our episodes to about an hour, and each season will have around 10 episodes!

Which episode should someone start with?

We would recommend S1E1 Rattlestead - Welcome to Rattlestead! Its from our first season, and has a great introduction into our style and podcast format.

Which have been your favourite episodes so far?

Probably the latter half of Rattlestead. We found our groove, and the group was meshing well! Some hilarious shenanigans.

Which episode are you most proud of?

We are currently trying something new with our second season: Maplewood. We are adding more music and ambient sound to immerse the listener gently. We don't want anything to distract you from the story, but this is our first time trying something like this!

What is your vision for your show?

To introduce a family-friendly actual play ttrpg podcast to folks of all ages. We want to showcase smaller ttrpgs, as well as play some of the bigger named ones to reach a broader audience.

What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?

Either Stack O' Dice, Tomes of the Chaos Bard, or Sneak Attack!

How did you come up with the name for your podcast?

We wanted something to show that we won't be telling the same story for a long time, but have multiple seasons and adventures. Knowing that the "stories might change, but adventures are guaranteed!"
