Greens & Scenes with Cam & G
Today we are discussing one of our favourite 9-hole courses - Covesea Links. Located in the North of Scotland, it is surrounded by many championship links courses. Covesea is the perfect compliment to one of these links courses on a trip up North and it’s 9 holes have so much character, as well as some amazing views! The course is relatively new, but has a timeless feel to it, which is credit to the natural design. We discuss the course layout at Covesea, as well as the wider area and golf scene up in that part of the world. We were very lucky to play there last year on a trip to the nearby Lossiemouth and our full match can be found on our YouTube channel (@cggolfs) 📺

Ep8 - As +2 handicap golfers, would we ever consider turning pro?

One of the most common questions we get asked when people find out our handicaps, is of course, would you ever consider turning pro? Now, we have a lot to unpack on this. From the mental side of competitive golf, to the gap in performance between a scratch and elite level tour player, that a lot of golfers struggle to comprehend. In this episode, Cam & G will discuss their thoughts on if they'd ever consider turning pro, at any level of the game, and what the future might hold for their amateur golf aspirations. Thank you guys for watching! Make sure you're following along for more Greens & Scenes podcasts, here with CGgolfs 😁🎧

Ep10 - How we'd mentor you to become a single figure golfer

On today's episode of Greens & Scenes, we'll be running through Cam's five main areas to focus on if you want to lower your handicap from around mid-teens, early-twenties, down to single figures. We talk through the importance of working with the right golf coach, course management, getting confidence in a couple stock shots and of course, the mental side of golf, and the things we can do to make it easier. Both Cam & Georgina have had various levels of coaching over the years, bringing us both down to +2 handicaps currently. It's easy to take this for granted at times, and assume everyone knows these areas of knowledge that we've picked up over the years, however, we know that isn't the case for everyone. Hopefully, we've been able to share some useful info with you guys! As always, let us know your thoughts or questions on this podcast below 🎧 thanks for listening, and make sure you're following along!
