Chris grew up as a military brat, living all over the globe.
He got involved in law enforcement in 2011 where he worked for a sheriff's office (detention) for about 3 years. Chris then joined DPS as a Texas State Trooper for a few years. He transferred to the DFW area where he worked around Ellis County. He knew some GPPD cops and decided to apply.
Chris joined GPPD in 2019. In his time here, he has been in patrol, a Drone Pilot, a SWAT Negotiator, and is currently a School Resource Officer (SRO).
Chris is a proud husband and father.

Jeremy Wright is the ASAC (Assistant Special Agent in Charge) at the Dallas FBI Office. As ASAC, Jeremy oversees FBI Dallas’ Criminal Branch 2 which manages Crimes Against Children, Human Trafficking, HUMINT, TOC-E, TOC-W, Violent Crime, Violent Gangs, and the Confidential File Room.
Jeremy was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky. He attained a master’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology in 2002 from Morehead State University in Kentucky.
Prior to joining the FBI as a Special Agent (SA) in 2012, Jeremy served eight and a half years in local law enforcement at the Office of the Fayette County Sheriff in Lexington, KY and achieved the rank of Captain.

Chad grew up NOT in the city, but on a 100,000 acre ranch. Needless to say, he learned quite a lot about animals, fencing, and country living.
Chad later joined the Marine Corps (USMC). After getting out, he went to college and got his degree. He then became a professional bull rider competing on the PBR. After breaking most bones and getting impaled by a bull through his head/face, he met his wife (while injured). Chad then pursued his goal of law enforcement. Chad became a state trooper up north for a few years. He then came to Texas and joined another local agency (shoutout APD). After doing a few years there, he came to GPPD. He has been with GPPD since 2014. In his time here he has been in patrol, a Field Training Officer (FTO), Honor Guard member, and part of the Mounted Unit.
Chad lives the country life where he has numerous animals on their 13 acres of land. His is currently breeding 1/2 Angus and 1/2 Wagu cows which will be some tasty meat!
