Good Risings
Today’s listener question: How do I rebuild trust when my boyfriend of one year has been hiding stuff from me? Answer: Rebuilding trust is challenging. It will take both of you, not him and not only you. Communication is key. First remember to have a thriving relationship, you will have to have trust. Regardless of the cause of the betrayal, it is painful. You are going to experience two different things, sense making and safety seeking. You are going to try and find safety because of the pain you feel. You also are going to attempt to make sense of what has happened. You will need them to atone for their betrayal. You will want to hear multiple apologies and feel true remorse for their behavior. What actions are they doing to build your trust? Next is the attunement phase. This is where you get back in tune with one another. Lastly, you should go into the attachment phase. This is where you are moving forward in a healthy relationship. Good Risings is a mindset. 52.3. Level Up Latte: Trusting Your Authentic Self

When you are in tune with your authentic self you can make better choices, better decisions. You also become more trusting of yourself and more confident. One key to consider is being very selective with your influences as you search for your authentic self. Consider the solar chakra and trusting that gut feeling. There is not a right or wrong choice. THey both have consequences and rewards but the choice was yours. Remember, regardless of which choice you make, imagination is the only way to consider what might have been if you had chosen differently. The key is the choice was made by you. 52.3. Grateful Grains: Taking Action (Part 1) - Unsubscribe

Today we discuss unsubscribing as we continue our journey on habits and tools to help with healing. It is easy in our modern world to become overwhelmed with information. Our world has become a world of being ‘plugged in’. There are phones, tablets, games, applications, computers and they all flood our mind with information if we allow them. The choice you have to make is to turn it off! Your mind needs a break from the constant bombardment of data being relentlessly thrown in our minds at every turn. We have also been programmed in the US to believe the solution is this side or that side. Our two party system is antiquated and spin the news to force you to pick a side. Friendships and families are being torn apart by the amount of information being thrown at them asking them to pick a side. Disengagement from the entertainment world, media, social media, phone calls, news and text messages is the start. Slow down, shut down and enjoy the silence without the constant barrage of information. Your mind, body and soul needs peace and quiet. Good Risings is a mindset.
