In this episode, we dive into the topic of embodiment and why it is essential for a fulfilling spiritual life. We will be discussing the importance of connecting with our physical bodies in order to connect with our spiritual selves, and how incorporating embodiment practices can deepen our spiritual practices.

One famous quote that sums up the importance of embodiment in spirituality comes from the spiritual teacher, Eckhart Tolle, who said: "The body is your temple. Keep it pure and clean for the soul to reside in." This quote highlights the idea that our physical bodies are not separate from our spiritual selves, but rather they are intertwined. By taking care of our physical bodies, we are also taking care of our spiritual selves.

Another quote that relates to this topic comes from the spiritual teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh, who said: "To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself." This quote emphasizes the importance of self-acceptance and self-love in our spiritual journey. By embracing and loving our physical bodies, we can better connect with our spiritual selves.

In this episode, we will be discussing various embodiment practices such as yoga, meditation, and mindful movement, and how they can aid in the process of connecting with our physical and spiritual selves. We will also be talking about the importance of self-care and self-acceptance in our spiritual journey.

We hope you will join us on this exploration of embodiment and spirituality, and come away with a deeper understanding of the importance of connecting with our physical bodies in order to deepen our spiritual practices.

Good Risings - 52.3. Hash It Out: Rebuilding Trust
play

05/18/22 • 6 min

Today’s listener question: How do I rebuild trust when my boyfriend of one year has been hiding stuff from me? Answer: Rebuilding trust is challenging. It will take both of you, not him and not only you. Communication is key. First remember to have a thriving relationship, you will have to have trust. Regardless of the cause of the betrayal, it is painful. You are going to experience two different things, sense making and safety seeking. You are going to try and find safety because of the pain you feel. You also are going to attempt to make sense of what has happened. You will need them to atone for their betrayal. You will want to hear multiple apologies and feel true remorse for their behavior. What actions are they doing to build your trust? Next is the attunement phase. This is where you get back in tune with one another. Lastly, you should go into the attachment phase. This is where you are moving forward in a healthy relationship. Good Risings is a mindset.
