It seems easier for indie podcasts to rank in the top charts on Goodpods when compared to Apple Podcasts or Chartable. Listener Heather asks, "How come?"

Friend of the show Tiana (of the Next Door Villain podcast) has asked about getting podcasts featured on Apple Podcasts (and Stitcher and others) and I'm here to give her the best advice I can but, to be honest, it's fairly black and white.

We've got a question from a stinky fella today. It's got to do with podcast hosting providers and what really matters when deciding on one.

Spotify has rolled out a new ads feature, and I think it's terrific. Some members of the podcast-focused media, on the other hand, seem to want to take every opportunity possible to avoid complimenting Spotify when they do good things for creators.

Joe Rogan has been taking a pounding in the media as of late. Does he deserve it? Some say no, others say yes. Either way, many are demanding that Spotify do something - either censor him or kick him off the platform all together. Since I've opened the floodgates of political discussion with my last episode, I suppose it was only a matter of *looks at watch* 24-hours before someone asked me another politically charged question.
