Student Doctors Mia Panlilio and Maison Evensen-Martinez guide us through a discussion on what Podoconiosis is and what is being done about it.

Mia Panlilio is a second year medical student originally from Walnut Creek, California. She did her undergrad at San Diego State University and then completed a post-bacc program at UC San Diego prior to starting at RVU, and in her free time she loves traveling, teaching yoga, cooking, and going to concerts.
Maison Evensen-Martinez is a second-year medical student at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his undergraduate in Spanish at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and enjoys traveling and reading. As a future physician, he plans to work with underserved communities both nationally and internationally.

Allie Wallace is a current OMS-II at Rocky Vista University in Southern Utah. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Iowa State University. She is interested in medical genetics, pediatrics, and the public health impacts of climate change, particularly its impact on low-income populations. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, film photography, reading and spending time with her two pet bunnies.
Arielle Navarro is currently an OMS-II student at Rocky Vista University in Southern Utah. She received her undergraduate degree at UNR in Biology. She is passionate about global health and promoting sustainable lifestyles and practices. She is currently interested in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with her dog, watching TV, and painting.
Lauren Weber is an OMS-I at Rocky Vista University. She received her undergraduate degree in Minnesota from the University of St. Thomas studying Biology of Global Health which allowed her to focus on the intersection of public health, biology, and environmental science. As of now, she hopes to work as a Family Med physician using the tools of OMM and preventative care. When school allows, she enjoys climbing, hiking, or camping with friends and practicing yoga.
