This location has the most sightings of apparitions in the entire 46,000 square foot mansion. From a little girl, to a woman said to look like Lucy Doheny, wife of Ned Doheny, wandering the hallway keeping an eye on all who approach the Master Suites. One of the most active locations in the entire 46,000 square feet of the mansion is the Second Floor Landing and Hallway. From black and white shadow forms to solid and transparent apparitions, these spirits are anxious to make themselves known. Poltergeist activity has been seen and heard in this location. This Second Floor Landing and Hallway runs nearly the entire length of the building from the Gun Room on the east, to the Master Suites on the west. The middle of the Landing looks down to the Grand Entry, allowing the spirits to see exactly who is entering their home!
