The Servants' Wing 2nd floor is extremely paranormal. Some have even commented on the feeling or vibe of the hallway as being dark or unwelcoming. From hearing voices, seeing dark shadows coming in and out of the servants' rooms, to sudden temperature changes, this location is steeped in activity. Confirmation on spirits being trapped here has been heard on EVP’s. “Are you afraid to find out what is on the other side?”... “Yes.”

The New Kitchen, Servants' Wing Staircase, and Break Room in the Servants' Wing are all in the Servants section of the mansion. This area is known for its paranormal activity, more so than nearly any other area in the house. Strange sightings of lights, ghostly children, footsteps, and objects flying off shelves. Talk to those in the know and they will say, “Beware of the servants wing!”

One of the most active locations in the entire 46,000 square feet of the mansion is the Second Floor Landing and Hallway. From black and white shadow forms to solid and transparent apparitions, these spirits are anxious to make themselves known. Poltergeist activity has been seen and heard in this location. This Second Floor Landing and Hallway runs nearly the entire length of the building from the Gun Room on the east, to the Master Suites on the west. The middle of the Landing looks down to the Grand Entry, allowing the spirits to see exactly who is entering their home!
