This week I have two very special guests from The Honestly Unfiltered podcast, Jeni and Ellie, on with me to discuss the riveting series Dopesick. This show is inspired by the true story of how America got hooked on a lie. We are dropped in the epicenter of America's struggle with the opioid addiction. We discussed what parts from the show were tough to watch, how addiction has influenced our lives and our families, and overall what the show meant to us. This discussion was one of my favorites I've done on the podcast so far, and I hope you all will enjoy! I am ecstatic to finally bring you the Yellowjackets spoiler episode! I had no guest for this episode due to scheduling conflicts, and I decided it was time to bring you this show that I've been dying to discuss with you either way. Yellowjackets follows a wildly talented high school girl soccer team that become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the Canadian wilderness. This show is suspenseful, crafty, thrilling, and downright crazy at times! It was an absolute RIDE! I loved every second. With a second season coming there are lots of theories that need discussing. Be sure to listen to all of the episode so we can dish out all the fan theories afterwards! Melanie Lynskey won a Critic's Choice Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of adult Shauna. The show has just been nominated for 7 Emmy Awards!! I am in love with this show, and hope you all loved it too!!

According to Imdb the plot is a love triangle between one girl and two brothers. A story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer. This series was a breath of fresh air, and one that really puts you in your feels. Whether you are recalling your first love, or reminiscing on your latest late night hang out with your best friend- this show may connect with you. Sure, it may seem a little "tween" or corny at times, but this show absolutely stole my heart. If you've seen To All the Boys I've Loved Before on Netflix- this is the same writer!
