Let's get real here guys.
Years ago, there was a ginormous wave of #momboss popularity that shot up allllll over social media and put quite a bit of pressure on women (moms specifically) to go be bad-ass CEO entrepreneur bread-winning super-human perfectly polished whatevers.
For some, it was a beautiful dream come true. For some it wasn't.
Fast forward to present day, and now we are faced with yet ANOTHER ginormous wave of #homesteadmom popularity that has also shot up all over social media and is ALSO putting quite a bit of pressure on women (moms specifically) to make their bread, laundry detergent, clothes, butter, face cream, foot cream, butt cream, whip cream (every meal until the end of time) completely from scratch.
Dude.
Either extreme is bananasssssssss AND shower us mamas with SO much guilt.
Let's taco bout it, and dive into why specific trends do not get to define what makes a good mother or human. Enjoy!
