Having self-published 3 books in under 2 years, I loved getting to connect with Tarah about her writing experiences, decision to remain an indie author (for now!), how she writes these delicious main characters, all about the steam... and so much more!

Today I’m joined by Canadian romance author, Jackie Lau who wrote the new romcom “The Stand-Up Groomsman”.
You may recognize Jackie as the author of “Donut Fall In Love”, a sweet romcom that made its debut last year. Though this story is a continuation of her previous work, both can be read as stand alones, which I particularly love.
This book was so much fun for me, as it incorporated my love for romance novels and stand-up comedy! Jackie and I chatted about the LGBTQ and Asian representation in this story, how she managed to write mini stand-up sets within the text of this book, why she loves reading and writing romance, and more!
