GenXicans Debate: Which Version Are We Anyway?
07/21/22 • 16 min
So, we share the collective identity of being GenXican, which is what you get when you cross a Mexican American with a GenXer. But which VERSION are we? 1.0, 1.25, 1.75, 2.0, 3.0, etc.? Do you start counting with the generation that moved to the U.S., or the generation that was born and raised here? Does your version number indicate how closely you identify with la tierra madre AKA Mexico? Hear what David Saldaña and Alexandra M. Landeros have to say about the matter.

Avoiding the Pinche Covid on Vacation
Do you remember back in the day when it used to be fun getting sick? You get to stay home from school, watch daytime soap operas and reruns all day, and raiding the kitchen for Jell-o Pudding Cups and Funyuns, getting special treatment from la mamá y la abuela with the 7UP y los caldos, and of course, the VapoRub. Yeah, as a grown-ass adult, especially with kids, it's not even remotely fun, especially when you're traveling.
Join at David Saldaña and Alexandra M. Landeros for a special episode where they compare notes about getting sick during travels away from home, and whether it's worth it to travel this summer because of el pinche Covid.
