Dear Friends Family Revolutionaries, and the Uninitiated,
There is nothing routine about life. The fundamental fear of "who are we", haunts us from adolescence through pre-pubescence on into, our life adult life. The crisis of self is a shared experience we all go through, but fail to connect as we strive to find our best self. From the first moments of self-realization, to the first exhaled breath; as your true self. What is it like to know from an early age exactly who you are, yet struggle to feel whole as you walk through life. How do we know when we have found ourselves, and how do we best express the voice of our soul.
Sitting with Gregory and Latiana, two sols that conquered self doubt, fear, and outside pressures of the world to conform. In spite of wanting to spread their wings and let their voices sing they describe the courage it took to endure abuse, targeting, rejection, attempts at conversion, and more... The power and unwavering conviction of self knowledge bestows on the heart, and how the smallest touches of Humanity; save a life.
Teacher, wiccan, lover, friend, daughter, son, mother, student, artist, the trials and tribulations of transformation into life of individual expressive freedom. From the mouths of Marsha P. Johson's children, ensure you pay them a full mind; as they detail the path to find- yourself!
~Thoughts are free, Revolution takes actions; Be Revolutionary~

A Cop, Corrections, and A Criminal's Campfire Chat, Part 2
Dear Friends Family Revolutionaries & the Uninitiated,
The scales of justice have three distinct roles, policeman - corrections - criminal, that bring the system into life. The criminal begat the police man, the policeman begets the corrections officer. Their existence is intrinsically dependent upon the criminal, and one another. The conversations they hold are never as equals; if they converse at all.
We sit down with two purveyors of the system of accountability to have a heartfelt empathetic unadulterated conversation.
To understand a system that imprisons individuals in an automated robotic manner, we have to address what accountability means. The darkest and ugliest of crimes that make your stomach wrench give calm when knowing there are small corners we can lock away the criminals. As they await the slow painful loss of life until their demise; or maybe we’ll give a jolt to get 'em going. Do we pause the needle for the sol texting that murdered a family of 4 toddlers? Do we settle for life imprisonment for the sol whose behaviors contributed to the delinquency of a minor? What does settling right with the officers and instilling corrections? Do the institutional concrete towers reserved for dark persons rehabilitate, instill fear, or capitalize on humanity's lack of empathy?
What is it like on the inside watching the convicted struggle to find semblances of humanity in incarcerated spaces. What are the interactions when there is no one to monitor? How do we find ourselves in determining the validity of someone’s access to absolute natural borne rights, and how we apply them in the different avenues of life. How do the sols that become the monitors and bastions of slices of humanity find themselves in these arduous roles.
Finally, what does it take for us to bestow humanity to the sols next to us, in a system that cashes in on the cache of private capital industry. Afterall, how does a system of justice work and depend on the capital of humans?
Join us as we fall into part one of Accountability with a cop, corrections; and the criminal!

Ally Yourself With Co-Conspirators
Dear Friends, Family, Revolutionaries, & the Uninitiated,
What the hell is an ally? Not when inside the tense and volatile spaces of war rooms staging the violent affairs of death and mayhem, but when asking to be seen as more than a stigma, label, object, or more importantly “other”! We struggle so often trying to find the right way to describe, define and detail the ways we hope someone can be an ally to us, that we forget what it means to ally ourselves with the interest of others first. In a world that is continuously spreading information to make us feel ever more isolated and divided, how can we ensure that when someone reaches out they know; we got them.
Knowing the effects of art presented to individuals, especially those in underserved communities; or just a bite to eat for our unhomed population. These two firile sols are consistently finding ways to extend their reach and ingratiate more members of the community under the warmth of their loving heart.
Sarah Spinks of Backfence Society Inc. and Heather aka DJ WildBlooms- Fallbrook Mutual Aid... mother, friend, shoulder, wife, intellect,... many words adhere to them and they explain how we can become better not just allies but co-conspirators.
The best way forward is to become better versed in the cultures of others, the struggles they go through, and the heart it takes to exist in “separate but equal spaces”.
