Fleece My Sheep?

Fleece My Sheep?

Sarah Ajala-Immanuel

Sarah Ajala-Immanuel is an evangelist of the Lord Jesus Christ committed to tackling and confronting error and deception in the African style of Christianity worldwide. The chief end of man is to give glory to God and enjoy Him forever. Most professing African Christians are restrained from doing this because of gross deception and false teaching. Sarah has a ministry to fight for the souls of men caught in that evil web so that the people may glorify the only Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, and God the Father only.

As we enter into a new year in the world, many people are full of hope, aspirations and appetites for bigger and greater things; much of this is false, having been promised by liars who are out to deceive. The most important need of man is not bigger and better finances and 'things', but the grace and mercy of God.

Year after year the people are deceived, and although they do not see the false promises delivered, they continue to believe their false teachers rather than turn to the Lord to meet their real need. God is not under obligation to meet man's covetous and materialistic requirements; He is holy, and commands us to be the same (1 Peter 1: 13-16).

Fleece My Sheep? - Walking Triumphantly through a New Year (4)

For some inexplicable reason people tend to have expectations of better living circumstances as they enter into a new year. Tragically and particularly in the African brand of Christianity, which is completely foreign to biblical Christianity, so-called pastors and leaders take advantage of this irrational thinking process to abuse the finances of their followers. They encourage people to engage in several days of fasting and prayers, a lot of financial covenants and seed-sowing, to usher in a more financially prosperous new year, which they lie that the Lord has promised.
Is God concerned about our financial status in any one year as He is about our spiritual well-being on each and every day?
As can be expected the people end up living in anxiety and dissatisfaction through the year, not receiving the said promises from God while continuing to relentlessly sow financial seeds as prescribed by their cunning and fraudulent leaders all year long; the leaders get richer through the year and the followers either lose what they have or remain discontent with what they do have. At the end of the year into the next year, the cycle of foolishness is restarted! They are all driven by the same sense of greed, leader and followers alike.
There is a more excellent way to live before God that gives perpetual joy and peace, enables us to live content and fulfilling lives in Godliness. Nothing can be more satisfying. This is what this series of sermons aims to enlighten and encourage the children of God to do.

It is apparent that most professing Christians believe the word of the men and women leading them over the Word of the Saviour and Lord who alone saves us. This is most evident across the African continent where the people seem to have created all kinds of 'Christianity' of their own, according to their own traditions and needs. The result of this is sheer idolatry and increasing godlessness and unholiness, being practised and cheered on by many who falsely believe they are saved, while regarding the eternal God and Saviour as a servant to their adopted earthly 'spiritual father and mother'.

The result of this is that far more people are headed for eternal hell than can be imagined, because they practised religion according to their own traditions and evil desires; not Christianity.
