Rebekah Keat | How to Make a Life-Changing Difference
09/21/20 • 36 min
When given the opportunity, humans can so beautifully connect with animals on a very powerful, spiritual level, and these animals oftentimes save human lives. Though I have spent very limited time with horses throughout my life, each experience has taught me great, beautiful lessons that I will never forget.
However, the reality is that 60,000 horses are unethically sold into slaughter each year for human consumption. This reality is what drives Rebekah Keat to save as many horses as possible and giving them a new purpose for their lives.
Rebekah Keat and her wife Siri Lindley founded the Believe Ranch & Rescue, where they’ve dedicated themselves to saving horses from slaughter, finding them ever-loving homes. Rebekah is also a two-time Junior World Champion, three-time national champion, six-time iron distance champion, and co-founder of Team Sirius Tri Club. Above all that, she is a hero who has saved 116 horses from abuse, neglect and gives them the second chance that they so deserve.
Throughout our conversation, Rebekah shares her experience driving forward the SAFE Act to end the slaughter of horses in the United States, what obstacles she’s overcome so far, and what it will take for this Act to pass. We also talk about how Rebekah met Siri and what sparked their beautiful relationship, and what it was like to be present as Siri’s wife while she underwent Leukemia.
Some Questions I Ask:
- How does it feel to reflect on the impacts you’ve made in the world? (2:58)
- How have you pivoted your business from survival mode to thriving mode in 2020? (6:51)
- How did you and your wife meet? (9:35)
- What is the SAFE Act? (16:55)
- What have you learned through the experience of being Siri’s wife as she went through leukemia? (25:19)
- What is your definition of an awakened soul? (33:04)

Episode 100: A Journey to Fire and Soul (this will inspire you!)
Here's to reaching my 100th episode of Fire and Soul!
It’s been quite a journey...
Those of you who have been listening a while will remember that podcasting wasn’t a dream I ever had. When I was younger, I dreamed of being an actress or TV Host. And I finally got the chance to live that dream in my mid 30s for a decade, but the dream ultimately changed when I attended my first Date with Destiny seminar with Tony Robbins in 2017. I woke up to knowing I was made for more... something deep in my soul felt called to serve, contribute and make a positive difference in this world. But I had no idea where or how to begin. That's when a friend encouraged me to start a podcast and six months later, this show came to life.
With an insatiable curiosity about all things mindset and success, I started having conversations with friends, mentors, thinkers, geniuses, and inspirational people from all over the globe. I interviewed them about the routines, mindsets, habits, principles, and actions that have led them to fulfilling lives, and I’ve learned something powerful from each and every one of them.
When I look back at my early episodes, I cringe a little — but no one starts with mastery. I’ve learned a lot since those first few episodes — about podcasting and about life — and the journey has been its own reward every step of the way. This special 100th episode is a testament to the last two and a half years of learning and growth, commitment and courage. I’m excited to be looking back on some of the highlights from the last two years of making The Fire and Soul Podcast and reflecting on the many lessons I’ve learned on this incredible journey.
Why You Should Listen to this Special 100th Episode Right Now...
The last two and a half years of podcasting have been extraordinary, but the interview clips I share today are definitely highlights. My mind was blown by the insight and wisdom of each of these remarkable people. In this 100th episode, I’m highlighting moments from seven guests who made a profound impact on my life. I’ll share how they each inspired me to open my mind and heart, face my fears, step into inspired action, and how they each helped me create a more epically aligned life.
If you’re ready to achieve mastery at starting a relationship with Jairek Robbins, master femininity with Alison Armstrong, master a money mindset with Scott Harris, overcome your limiting beliefs with Jack Canfield, learn how to have a life changing miracle with the co-founder of Rythmia Dr. Jeff McNairy, how to build on the two indicators of 'awakening' with Panache Desai, and learn how to be intentional about race with my dear friend Daniel Gibson, then join me on Episode 100!
Here's to Fire and Soul!
In This Episode You Will Learn:
- What Fire & Soul means (2:03)
- How my podcast journey began (4:55)
- Jairek Robbins’ method to starting a successful relationship (8:17)
- Alison Armstrong’s quick fix for creating a sense of femininity (17:07)
- Scott Harris unpacks the "feather, brick, truck" analogy to illustrate how the universe communicates with us (25:52)
- How Jack Canfield’s experience with the plant medicine Ayahuasca inspired me and many others to try it at Rythmia (34:07)
- Dr. Jeff McNairy explains Rythmia and why 94% of guests report experiencing a life changing miracle (38:06)
- Panache Desai’s guideposts around how to know when you’ve reached enlightenment (45:11)
