Starting anything for the first time brings with it all kinds of emotions. Excitement, a sense of purpose, a feeling of alignment, and it also brings doubt. Feelings of doubt or dreaded imposter syndrome are normal. But that doesn’t mean they’re right. The trick is recognizing those feelings for what they are and making sure we don’t allow them to sink us or stop us from moving forward.
As we’re deep in the gardening season, I have two very special guests today that’ll help us put early-season entrepreneurship into earth-bound focus. Chanti Zak is a quiz funnel strategist and growth teacher that’s obsessed with psychology, interactive marketing, and getting brag-worthy results for her students and clients. She believes boring is the enemy, neutral is a death sentence and real talk is the way of the future. In her spare time you can find her hanging with her three kiddos, learning how to homestead, or binge-watching Chef’s Table. Her copywriting wing-woman Dawn Petrin is the ultimate companion plant, and together they’re on a mission to plant bountiful gardens all around the world.
Today, we’re talking about planting the seeds of possibility and potential, while avoiding the trap of comparing yourself to others. You’ll learn how to identify your “why” and get more aligned with what you want to create in the world. Just like we tend to young seedlings in our gardens, you’ve got to be gentle with yourself as you move through the seasons of your business, because getting to harvest time is a process. You’ll learn how to interpret the messages that storms and weeds in your metaphorical garden are trying to send, and how you can lean deeper into trust, knowing that you’ve already set yourself up for success.
Here’s to believing in yourself and trusting in the success of your harvest!
