Blessed with the opportunity to interview Jenn Cobbs, PA-C, a respected colleague and former PA classmate...she is BRILLIANT, DRIVEN, BEAUTIFUL and BLACK. Together, she and I begin a discussion on the multi-layered topic of "Minorities in Aesthetics," scratching the surface for providers, patients and the industry.
Jenn has been a board certified Physician Assistant for over 16 years, with over 9 of those years being in Aesthetics. She has worked for a variety of practices and spas, but her entrepreneurial spirit has allowed her the boldness and bravery to begin and continue to develop her own business, JC Aesthetics, LLC. She is masterful in her assessment of patients for fillers, toxins, PDO threads, skincare and more, with the goal of providing safe treatments, with natural appearing results. Labiaplasty: Expert advice from Dr. Keshma Saujani, MD, FACOG

It was an honor to interview Dr. Keshma Saujani, MD, FACOG to discuss a procedure/surgery specific to women: LABIAPLASTY. Dr. Saujani is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Longstreet Clinic Obstetrics and Gynecology and also holds board certification in minimally invasive GYN surgery. Her medical skills are remarkable, her reputation is impeccable, she cares passionately about her patients and is not bashful about fighting for the best care for them. She is an inspiration!
In this episode, she discusses an issue some women are faced with in which the Labia Minora (the inner "lips" of the vagina) can extend out past the Labia Majora (the outer "lips" of the vagina), which potentially can lead to physical discomfort and mental stress. She explains that this can be improved with a procedure/surgery called a Labiaplasty and that she has found patients to have a high level of satisfaction with the results.

Madison worked as a nurse in the Emergency Department and then began her adventure in aesthetics after becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She has more recently been working with JC Aesthetics LLC, as an educator to other injectors as well.
