Known by many as “The Termite Lady” of Ecola Services, Inc., Sue is the former director and chair of the Pest Control Operators of California. She is also an environmental activist for disadvantaged children with asthma, Director of UAIAP (United Against Indoor Air Pollution), as well as a consultant and national spokesperson for Indoor Allergen Control Network.

Sue Fries is an award-winning author, public speaker, and syndicated talk radio host. She’s also a successful business owner, competitive dancer, and still finds time to be a mom.
Having a child who suffers from chronic allergies to dust mites as well as attention deficit disorder, Ecola Termite Services’ Susan Fries has always been particularly conscious of not only the global environment, but her family’s immediate surroundings. Her family’s health combined with her love for animals were the real driving forces behind her decision to operate an eco-sensitive pest management company. And with growing sensitivity to factors such as global warming, pollution and a generally increasing “green” movement, Fries knew that the best thing to do would be to buy her own alternative termite treatment company. This ultimately led to ECOLA Termite & Pest Service’s “Best Green Exterminator” Award in August of 2007-2010
While ECOLA Services was incorporated in 1983, it was not until Sue — now recognized as “The Termite Lady” — took over the business in 2000, that those alternative non-chemical treatments such as the electro gun, Ecola Heat, and microwave methods became a recognized alternative to solving the Termite and Pest problem. By offering both traditional treatments along with a variety of ecological solutions of pest control, Fries has certainly got her green market cornered.
