Today we kick off season 2 of Evolution Stories (previously Embracing Evolution) with Charleston fashion icon and entrepreneur extraordinaire, Mimi Striplin. What started as one style of tassel earrings has evolved into an expansive collection of jewelry, accessories, gifts and clothing from local Black women-led brands. Mimi set out with the goal to build a lifestyle brand centered around joy, healthy rhythms and community. I am so excited to have her here to share the story of her brand's evolution.

Today I have the pleasure of being joined by one of my very own clients, Emree Woods, Founder of Rightside Brewing, a non-alcoholic beer brand in Atlanta, GA. She could have never anticipated that her first pregnancy in 2017 would inspire a non-alcoholic beer brand. While not being able to drink during her pregnancy, she realized there were no authentic tasting non-alcoholic beer brands, only the big brands that had been around for seemingly forever.
She saw an opportunity in the non-alcoholic brewing space for a great tasting craft option. Health and wellness were always a priority before and after her pregnancy, and drinking always seemed to contradict this lifestyle. Her entrepreneurial spirit was enveloped with the idea of a balanced, brighter life with no social sacrifices or stigmas around not drinking.
Emree talks to us about her brand evolution from the first idea to the launch to then growing her brand and business.
