On November 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Scarberry and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Mallette, were driving through the TNT area in their Scarberrys' 1957 Chevy, when they noticed two big red eyes looking back at them from the darkness. Was it Mothman or something more simple?

Mothman - Part I

on December 15, 1967 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia - the entire 1460-foot suspended portion of the Silver Bridge collapsed into the river, taking with it 32 vehicles and 46 victims. However, something happened in Point Pleasant not long before the bridge collapsed. Something that - to some - was the most terrifying and strange series of events they have ever experienced and - to others - was a really fun hoax with real world explanations. These strange events due to their proximity in time and location were forever linked to the Silver Bridge tragedy - were the strange events a prophetic warning or possibly a harbinger of the doom yet to come from the mysterious, Mothman?
