Introducing the Faster Fluency Conversation Club podcast
Welcome to the Faster Fluency Conversation Club podcast, for busy professionals who want to become fluent in English faster, have more confidence speaking English, and who want to connect with other professionals around the world to have fun doing it.
I’m Christina, from the popular YouTube channel Speak English with Christina. And with my team of Expert Teachers Cara, Matthew, Kristina, and Trisha, we want to help you become fluent faster, and feel more confident speaking English, both with native and non-native speakers.
After all, if you work in an international context, you need to speak good English, but also communicate well with people who have different accents, different levels of English, and different work cultures.
In the Faster Fluency Conversation Club podcast, you’ll hear conversations between my teachers and me, where we talk about all sorts of things, on both everyday and business topics.
It’s all in English, and the conversations are unscripted and spontaneous, to help you train your ear to understand real spoken English, the way we really speak it in conversations.
You’ll hear conversations on topics ranging from entrepreneurship to the environment, cultural differences and tips for learning English, but also more everyday topics like talking about your family, what you did during the weekend, places to visit in your country, and even what you had for breakfast.
In other words, the kinds of topics that come up in your everyday conversations with your clients and colleagues around the world
We want to give you the comprehension skills, the vocabulary, the speaking practice, and especially, the confidence, to connect with professionals around the world and advance your career in English.
The Faster Fluency Conversation Club Podcast is the main audio resource for our Faster Fluency Conversation Club. And if you’re wondering what that is, well, keep listening!
It’s our fluency development program, that helps you become more confident speaking English with professionals from around the world. You improve your vocabulary, listening comprehension, conversation skills, and confidence speaking with other Club members, and your Fluency Club leaders.
Each week, I send you audio resources, including this podcast, and the transcript, plus vocabulary activities and interesting articles curated from the internet to prepare you to participate in the conversation sessions, which happen 4 times a week.
