S2:E3 - Mental Health
04/18/22 • 51 min
Getting diagnosed with cancer has a profound effect on your mental health, and that part of treatment does not seem to have the same emphasis as the physical side of the equation. That makes sense, you have to stay alive to work on your mental health, but like most things the mental/physical health equation isn't an either/or but a both/and.
Please remember that we are NOT in any way, shape or form medical professionals, and this is really just our experiences and observations. We make no claims that how we have handled our mental health is even good way to do it, this is just the way we did. If you feel like you do need to talk to someone we cannot stress enough how important it is to speak to your doctor or mental health professional!
