We’ve gotten so used to being in a constant state of alertness that it becomes our baseline, but it’s far from the physiologic, rest-and-digest, tend-and-befriend baseline that our bodies need to stay healthy and our minds need to stay well. And it’s bothersome - the sleepless nights, anxiety, work-obsession, and time wasted on activities that isolate us from others keep us from living our most full & fulfilled lives.

Breaking the UTI Cycle with Functional Medicine

Did you know that between 50 and 60% of women will experience a UTI (urinary tract infection) in their lifetime? While typically not super dangerous, UTI’s are no fun. You’ve got the often-intense burning with urination, a sense of urgency, and feeling like you have to pee all the time, even if you just went and hardly anything comes out.
