Lisa is a Qualified Mental Health Professional, Certified Life Coach, Recovery Coach, and holds a Masters's in Organizational Leadership.
Lisa has worked in Social Services, advocating, supporting, embracing, and empowering women for more than 20 years. In her personal life she has chosen to dedicate herself and connect with women, by way of community, maternal experiences, homelessness, child health, mental illness, substance abuse, and so much more. Lisa has been defined as a Connector, A Leader, A Mentor, The Clean-Up Woman, and even a Master Trainer. She is certified to facilitate several research-based workshops and groups, which include, but are not limited to; Life and Parenting Skills, Mental Health Education and Support, Abuser Intervention, Sexual Assault, Recovery, John’s Training, Domestic Violence, Healing, and so much more. Lisa’s mindset is stuck on challenging women to truly allow themselves to be transparent and in their truth with themselves and each other, in order to live their best lives. Lisa has a gift for connecting and embracing women, particularly those who are broken and who have experienced or are living in trauma and crisis-related situations.
Presently, Lisa sits in the position of Region Manager for CEDA South overseeing FsACE; ((Family Support And Community Engagement), a “case management” program that looks at your needs and builds you a path toward self-sufficiency). Including her recent acceptance to “100 Women who Care”, an organization that uses the power of collective giving to make a positive difference in the diverse neighborhoods of our Chicago community.
