Dante Disparte is the first Head of Policy and Communications for the Libra Association, a newly-formed organization that has brought together social impact organizations and a diverse group of leading businesses from around the world to create a simple global currency and financial infrastructure to empower billions of people.
Dante comes to Libra with two decades of experience as an entrepreneur, business leader and global risk expert, most recently as founder and head of Risk Cooperative, a strategic risk advisory and insurance brokerage based in Washington, D.C. Dante also serves as an appointee on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Advisory Council, the United States’ federal emergency response agency. He is a founding advisor of the Global Blockchain Business Council and a senior fellow with the Blockchain Trust Accelerator where he supports technology and digital transformation initiatives.
Dante is the co-author of “Global Risk Agility and Decision Making” (Macmillan, 2016).

Blake Allison is the founder and CEO of LifeCents. He also serves as chairman of VALOR USA, a national nonprofit financial education program for veterans, service members and their families which he founded 2012.

In addition to his work at LifeCents, Blake serves on the Board of Directors for Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Maryland and Delaware (CCCSMD), a nonprofit financial counseling agency, and the eHome America National Advisory Committee, which promotes home-buyer education. Previously, he served on the Maryland State Department of Education Advisory Board for Financial Education and as an adjunct professor at Montgomery College in Maryland, where he taught a course on personal finance. Blake’s work in the financial wellness field has been cited in various publications including Forbes, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post.

Blake has an MBA in finance from the College of William & Mary and a BBA in finance from James Madison University. He currently lives in Washington, DC.

Haven Pell began writing about politics in 2011 at the website he founded, LibertyPell. He expects to launch a new website, Pundificator.com, later this year. Prior to becoming the Pundificator, Haven was a navy officer, a lawyer, an investment banker, the director of a family office, and one of the co-founders of the Bernstein office in Washington DC. Haven was my mentor when I came to Bernstein in 2008, and even though he has retired from Bernstein, I still think of Haven as one of the best advisors I have ever known.

Haven has been married to the artist Simmy Pell for 45 years; he is the father of three children and the grandfather of four.
