Did I Ever Tell You The One About... MF DOOM
In this episode, we dig deeper into the relationship between M.C. Serch and the GYP (The Get Yourz Posse).  Take a ride with us to Long Beach, New York, and hear how this little beach town became the center of Serch’s life. DOOM and Subroc’s crib was where the formation of all their biggest ideas and master plans were conceptualized. Along with Ahmed’s basement, directly across the street, this little area was where the GYP and KMD was birthed. Hip hop, along with the help of Islam, helped these young minds develop a strong sense of self and a viewpoint that played a crucial part in their music and the development of their individual personalities. This episode also looks into the evolution of KMD and Onyx -The Birthstone Kid (Last living member of KMD) Onyx shares his memories of bonding with his brothers for the first time, and tells the story of how a vicious dog played a key role in all of their paths crossing. We also hear the tale of how a trip in a car to the local mall bore a well-known saying in pop culture, still used to this day. New episodes of "Did I Ever Tell You The One About... “Art” From Long Beach (Season 2 Premiere - Part 1)

In the first episode, we take it back to Summer 2021. MF DOOM’s block is being posthumously named after him and his group KMD and it’s here where we take it back to Doom’s beginnings first in England, then all the way to Long Island, with commentary from his brother Dimbaza and Sister Tanjie, along with loved ones who knew DOOM aka Daniel Dumile, best. M.C. Serch also shares how he met and formed a bond with Doom that spanned 2 decades with this irrefutable legend of hip hop.  For the first time ever, get a look into how DOOM's upbringing and New York misadventures created this unique and irreplaceable artist. We also hear how M.C. Serch, already on his way to making a name for himself, makes DOOM a promise he would keep. New episodes of "Did I Ever Tell You The One About... MF DOOM" drop every Monday!
