“This is just like a dark Look Who’s Talking”

The panel of peril are comin’ for ya like Elora as we travel to a magical land to chat about 1988’s Willow. We then try to improve upon the villain’s diabolical plan for the honour of choosing next week’s film and hosting the pod.

Willow was George Lucas’s major foray into the world of fantasy as he produced and has a story credit on Ron Howard’s film. A visual epic with an intimate story, Willow tells the tale of the child Elora who is prophesied to be the one who will ‘undo’ evil sorceress Bavmorda. Needless to say, old Bav isn’t too keen on that idea and will stop at nothing to get her hands on the bairn.

********PLOT SPOILER ALERT********

Bavmorda (Jean Marsh) has long ruled the land with an iron fist but becomes increasingly concerned about a prophecy that says a child will be her undoing. Ordering every pregnant woman be imprisoned, so it comes to pass that Elora is found sailing down a river by Willow (Warwick Davis) who undertakes an epic journey to protect the child and defeat the evil Queen. Val Kilmer’s Madmartigan and Joanne Whalley’s Sorsha will aid in him in his quest.

What did the heck panel think of this week’s movie? How in all that is holy can they improve upon the villain’s masterplan? And which evil schemer will be christened this week’s most diabolical?
