The Case of the Pickled Corpse
03/21/23 • 60 min
On October 16th, 1920 the body of a missing bank employee is discovered within New Jersey’s sprawling pine barrens. His clothes are all wet, despite being some distance from the nearest stream, and he’s been robbed of over $40,000 in cash. Strangest of all his body seems to have been somehow...pickled. This is a case for Detective Ellis H Parker, often credited as being “America’s Sherlock Holmes.” Parker will need all his considerable deductive skills, forensic expertise, and natural intuition to solve a mystery that unfolds in the heart of Prohibition-era America.
A Noiser production, written by James Benmore.
