These guys inspired me a lot lately and so they influenced my own style of playing shows and producing music as well. I played a hell lot of shows again this year, but there's one genre I absolutely played the most: DISCO! It was so much fun playing Disco Snolly sets at festivals like 7th Sunday, Paaspop, Weekend Magnifiek and Jungle, that I had to record one of those sets. Het Hiphop Journaal

Een jaar geleden maakte ik de mixtape 'Hiphop You Don't Stop', een verzameling waarbij ik mijn 50 favoriete hiphopclassics in exact 1 uur in elkaar heb gemixt. Deze werd zo goed ontvangen, dat ik steeds meer de vraag kreeg om hier een Nederlandse versie van te maken. Daarom presenteer ik jullie nu; Het Hiphop Journaal! Het lukte me niet om binnen het uur te blijven en ook de 50 tracks ben ik ruim voorbij gegaan, maar het is een mix geworden waar ik ontzettend trots op ben. Ja, er missen zeker nog de nodige tracks en nee, je gaat het niet met al mijn keuzes eens zijn, maar dit is een verzameling van mijn persoonlijke lievelings-tunes geworden. Nummers die mijn muzikale jeugd vorm hebben gegeven, bijzondere herinneringen met zich meedragen of juist de basis voor de toekomst van hiphop in Nederland hebben gelegd.
