In this episode of DAOn the Rabbit Hole, we’re talking to Emma-Jane MacKinnon-Lee. She’s the founder of DIGITALAX, a Web 3.0 digital fashion platform, and she’s here to talk all about the metaverse and what it means for all of us.

Emma-Jane talks about how we can define the metaverse and whether we’re already living in it in some sense. We talk about decentralized governance and how that will work, including how decentralized capital will work.

Emma-Jane talks about how the life of a typical 16-year-old will look when the metaverse is fully developed, and the various opportunities it will create. She also talks about some of the gaps in infrastructure that still exist and how we can solve some of those problems.

Building Web 3.0, our overall intentions are similar to those when the original internet was built, and yet many problems arose with it. Emma-Jane talks about the potential problems that could arise with Web 3.0 and what we can do to avoid them.

We also talk about how the metaverse could impact mental health, and how to strike a balance between the digital and physical worlds. Finally, we talk about the future, how the metaverse could reshape the world, and what’s in store over the next decade or two.
