Two Days or Three?
12/20/17 • -1 min
Was Jesus in the grave for three days or only two?
Skeptics claim that Jesus failed to fulfill the prophecy about His death being for three days and three nights since Jesus died on Friday and rose on Sunday, but from the historical and biblical view, a new day started when it got dark, not at midnight. Now, do you remember how darkness fell upon the land during Jesus’ death? It’s during this period of darkness, or night, that Jesus was buried.
Therefore, early Friday afternoon would be one night. Late Friday afternoon would count for one day, Friday evening would be the second night, Saturday during daylight is the second day, Saturday after sunset started the third night, and Jesus rose after daybreak on Sunday morning, which would count as day number three.

PA System
What tool can make the gospel heard loud and clear?
When you want to share the Gospel with a large crowd, it can be helpful to have a PA system or amp. They come in lots of shapes and sizes with varying levels of loudness and portability.I have a baby amp for sharing with small crowds and my big boy amp is for large areas, but it’s not as portable. The big one also comes in handy when ministering outside of abortion centers because you can share the Gospel with people that are inside the building.
Now you may be thinking, “The louder, the better, right?” Not necessarily. The most important aspect to consider is clarity, because there’s no point in being loud if they can’t understand you. And always make sure that you comply with local noise regulations or there could be trouble.

Galatians 1:10
Do you worry about what others think of you?
One of my favorite Bible verses is Galatians 1:10 because it’s a great reminder to keep my mind focused on serving Christ. It says, “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” (ESV)Many of us can get caught up with feeling a need for approval, but when we do things to garner acceptance from humans, our heart isn’t in the right place and we can succumb to the sin of pride.
Whenever you do something while expecting to receive praise from others, put yourself in check by reading Galatians 1:10. We must seek the approval of God, not man, and serve only Him.
