Have you ever seen a statue of Buddha and wondered what Buddhism teaches?

That statue of a fat, bald guy at your favorite Chinese restaurant is a depiction of Siddhartha Gautama (Sid-Hart-A Got-A-Ma), also known as Buddha.
Buddhists believe that suffering exists in this world because people aren’t content and that the way to end suffering is by having no desire for anything. They desire to reach nirvana, a state of of perfect happiness, but it can’t be achieved, because the desire to reach that goal keeps them from it.

Buddhism contradicts Christianity because the Bible teaches that we can’t do anything to earn our way into Heaven. When witnessing to a Buddhist, tell them what the Bible says about where suffering really came from and that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to be content in this life.

Where in the Bible can we find the key principle to biblical evangelism?

There are many techniques and methods for sharing your faith, but are any of them biblical? James 4:6 says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” If someone is prideful and thinks they can earn their way into Heaven, they'll spend eternity in Hell.
When you witness to someone, don't focus on them, because chances are, they do that enough already. Instead, use God's moral law to break through their pride, showing them that because of their sin, they deserve an eternal punishment.

Once a person has been humbled by the commandments, tell them about what God did to rescue guilty sinners from the Lake of Fire. This is how Jesus and His disciples shared the Gospel throughout Scripture and today's Christians should do the same.

Periscope is one of the original live video platforms that allows others to see the world through your eyes. This app helps people to find you through their live video map and highlights random live videos on the Periscope website. It also allows viewers to interact with you through chat bubbles.
Now, why is all of this important? Well, it’s important because you can use this medium to broadcast the Gospel all over the world! I’ve used Periscope numerous times to witness to people that found my live video on the app and I’ve had some great conversations about the God of the Bible with many non-believers.
