An excerpt from our “Conversations With” series episode about philanthropy’s response in South Africa that questions if South African funders will continue to be flexible. We conclude with highlights from the report, “Conversations With Africa Grantmakers: Reflections on Navigating Roles and Relationships” that interviewed grantmakers about their career paths, lessons learned, and how they manage the different roles and relationships that are part of the grantmaking process.
