Navigating Early Sobriety and Creating an Intentional Life
07/13/23 • 8 min
Navigating early sobriety is quite challenging, especially in a world where drinking alcohol is so prevalent. To evade questions like why you don't drink, sober people might start avoiding certain places, events, or people. Slowly but surely, they'll narrow their world and shrink; they stop living fully.
I'm Andrea Bell, Certified Professional Life Coach, Integrative Nutrition & Health Coach, Certified Gray Area Drinking Coach, and, more importantly, I have been sober for 11 years. We are the creators of our experiences, and with the proper support, we can create intentional and fulfilling lives, and achieve sustained sobriety and a life we genuinely desire.
Being sober is not about constantly reminding yourself about your past or embracing "being broken" as your identity. You can change your thinking, focus on your personal growth, reflect less on your past, and create plans for your future.
Tune in and listen to the first episode of Curating Sobriety. I invite you to join me every week to find resources and support, and a platform for conversations about enjoying life without alcohol.
