Jeffery is young boy who is sad, alone and tormented by the memory of his father leaving him and his mother without a word. He is bullied at school, even disliked by his own mother. The only comfort he has in the world, is a little frog he rescued. A bond forms between them and Jeffery starts to feel whole again. But his mother feels nothing but disgust when she finds out about the frog and just wants him gone. Then when Jeffery finds a strange shop that sells books of the occult, things start to go from bad to worse for everyone, or maybe not for everyone. (featuring the monstrous vocal talents of Ted Huggins).

Howard Phillips Lovecraft, August 20, 1890 – March 15, 1937 was an American writer of weird, science, fantasy, and horror fiction and is best known for his creation of the Cthulhu Mythos. He is regarded as the pioneer of Cosmic Horror and the Horror of the Unknown who's stories have been a major inspiration behind the existence of many, many Sci-Fi Horror properties of the modern day and beyond, including this very podcast. This episode serves as tribute to his work.
If you feel inclined to do so after listening to this episode, do consider looking into the many other literary works of H.P Lovecraft, with whom, many of the stories we love today, wouldn't have existed.
