This week we cover exorcisms. We take a deeper look at the case of Kennedy Ife and his disastrous exorcism at the hands of the people he trusted the most- his family and church officials.

For dinner, Cindy steered away from pea soup and instead made delicious chicken pot pies and for dessert we had lick your fingers lemon blueberry cream cheese danishes. We had a mixed drink called The Exorcist which was strong enough to knock your socks off.

This week we celebrate our third anniversary by visiting our first-ever fan in Atlanta. We did a live show and covered two stories. Nydia covers the infamous National Pencil Factory Murder of Mary Phagan. Dana shares the story of Georgia’s oracle, Mayhayley Lancaster.

For dinner, we were treated with skillet balsamic pork chops with peaches and gorgonzola cheese over creamy polenta. For dessert, we shared a Coca-Cola cake with ice cream. For drinks, we shared Captain and Cokes.

No marriage is perfect, and Grace Pianka and Adam Kostewicz were no exception. Hidden behind the doors of their home, no one ever truly knew what was happening. This is a story of an immigrant family attaining the American dream and turning it into an American nightmare. It’s a story of losing it all for love.

For dinner, we went with a Polish theme. Cindy made Polish Pork Goulash and potato pancakes. The eatin was so good! For dessert, Cindy came up with a love theme and made strawberry crunch cheesecake cones, and yes, they were to die for! The meal was paired with Portlandia Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, one of Nydia’s favorites.

This week we cover the Facebook murders, an unbelievable story of how loneliness and social isolation can lead to bullying, harassment, and even death. This real-life story of catfishing and love triangles shook a small town in Tennessee to the core.

Cindy dug up some recipes she saved on her Facebook page just for this episode. She made us a Chicken Tetrazzini that Nydia and Dana would not stop raving about. Then she hit us with a Twinkie cake that could not be beat. The question is what did they think about the Waltz Vineyard Rose?

This week we take you to Germany where a man named Egidius Schiffer takes his fetish along on a rampage. We don’t want to yucky anyone’s yum but this dude was scum and his come up was a real shocking tale.

Cindy matched the theme and made a delicious German Schnitzel with hot German potato salad. For dessert, she made a German apple cake. America pretends they’ve cornered the market on apple desserts but Germany came through. We drank Paulaner Hefe Weisen, a classic Bavarian wheat beer that was so mild we turned Dana into a beer drinker.

This week we had a crossover episode with the fantastic ladies from Twisted and Uncorked. They told us a tragic story of the Yogurt Shop Murders in Austin, Texas. If you want to hear the story that we told them about Dominio's The Noid Hostage story follow the link to their podcast feed!

Cindy made burgers and fries for the fast food theme. What goes best with burgers and fries? Milkshakes! We had Boozy Milkshakes made with peanut butter whiskey.

The Golden Girls were a staple of our youth but what was the secret to the show’s success? Why did we tune in to watch four old ladies? We came for the laughs and stayed for the friendship; kind of like this podcast. This week we discuss the show and the private lives of the actors.

For dinner, we went with a southern theme. Cindy prepared recipes from the Golden Girls Cookbook. We had the Southern Not So Fried Chicken with honey Bourbon carrots and buttermilk mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had Mr. Ha Ha’s cheesecake. We washed it all down with Amaretto Sours.

They say tall fences make the best neighbors, but what happens when you share a wall with your neighbor? All Ann Hoover wanted to do was better her neighborhood. Her wish came true but at a greater cost than anyone wanted to pay.

For dinner, Cindy went with the topic of moving and made us delicious flatbread pizzas. For dessert, we shared Viennetta, the dessert of the rich and famous; or so we thought as kids. For drinks, we had Raging Bitch an IPA from Flying Dog Brewery and we loved it!

Before a time when everyone pretended to be something they are not, there was Princess Caraboo. She was mysterious; she spoke an unknown language and yet she faked it til she made it. This week we cover the story of Princess Caraboo.

For dinner, we had green curry salmon and saffron rice. It was a culinary trip to Bali. For dessert, we had Balinese milk tarts. An exotic sweet treat that didn’t disappoint. For drinks, we shared Hooptea, a delicious iced tea malt beverage.

During World War II an all-female group of military aviators of the 588th Night Bomber Regiment was terrorizing Nazis under the stealth of the night sky. These women were nicknamed the Night Witches. They had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Cindy goes full-on Russian with a one-pot meal called Plov because Night Witches don’t have time to cook. She made a sour cream cake called Smetannik that was worth leaving room for and for drinks we shared some amazing Moscow Mules.
