The best podcasts for all things spooky!

Who am I?

Spook Central Station is the central place for all things spooky. I narrate horror stories, chat about true crime and serial killers, research haunted places and talk about the history, breakdown horror movies and even play horror games! I have always had an interest in horror and the supernatural, I think that stemmed from my Mum and her Mum (my Nan). The first scary movie I ever watched was Scream at the age of 10 and while that was nightmare fuel for me at that age, I developed a respect for the genre. Found footage films like The Blair Witch Project got me excited and then I watched my first proper gory film, Saw. I was 13 and my Mum made me promise not to tell anyone she'd let me watch it at that age because it wasn't really appropriate but I loved the movie so much that not too long after seeing it, it quickly became my absolute favourite and I was seeking out the next gore filled film. I love urban legends and folklore, the history of where these stories stem from is really interesting, I also love learning about abandoned buildings and hauntings. I was inspired to create my channel by other horror narrators and ghost hunters on Youtube and once I'd created my channel I was asked to make them into podcast episodes also for those on the go.

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

I narrate Reddit No Sleep stories or stories sent in to me (with the permission of the authors of course), I personally read and pick these stories to narrate as I believe they fit my niche and I have enjoyed them. True Crime / Serial Killers are always really interesting and I enjoy researching them and learning more about their brains work, I also know there are many people out there with the same interest so I'm happy to do the hard work for them to get some enjoyment and even some education. Horror movie breakdowns because some people like to get commentary and I'm happy to offer that however they are what takes me the longest to make. Haunted history again comes down to learning and researching haunted locations which I enjoy doing.

What is my podcast playlist about?

The playlist is full of all things spooky, you will get a complete mixture of all of the above that I've mentioned.
