Crime and Crime Again
Kaysera Stops Pretty Places was 18 years old and a member of the Crow Nation. She disappeared in Hardin, Montana in August of 2019. Five days later, she was found deceased under suspicious circumstances. Her death was classified as “suspicious,” however, there has been no investigation into what really happened to her, or who could have done this. Investigating authorities have perpetrated numerous ethical violations and continuously enabled one another in doing so.
Kaysera is one of far too many Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls across the United States and Canada.
This is an updated and re-released version of my original episode on this case.
During the month of August 2021, Kaysera's family is launching their second annual month of action, and they need our help to demand justice for Kaysera. Please follow the Justice For Kaysera Facebook page for updates about how you can help, linked below.

Ashlea Aldrich, of the Omaha Tribe in Nebraska, was twenty nine years old and a mother to two boys. Her long term relationship with her sons' father was consistently marked by abuse against Ashlea, though charges were never brought against her boyfriend, despite multiple reported incidents of domestic abuse over the years. In January 2020, Ashlea was found nude in a field, near her boyfriend's abandoned SUV. No criminal charges have been brought in connection with her death.
Ashlea is one of far too many Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls across the United States and Canada.

Ebby Steppach was 18 years old when she disappeared from her hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas, just days after a party where she alleged that four men sexually assaulted her and recorded their actions on a cellphone. For nearly three years, no trace of her was found. In 2018, authorities returned to the park where her abandoned car had been found just days after her disappearance, and it was there that they located the remains of Ebby Steppach; she had been there the entire time that she was missing. Today, Ebby's murder remains unsolved and no one has ever been charged or arrested in connection with her case.
