June marks the beginning of hurricane season each year. It’s when Floridians look for predictions from weather experts and hope the state is spared from direct impacts. In this episode of the Crest of the Wave, we’ll talk with Volusia County Emergency Management Director Clint Mecham. We’ll ask him about his transition from Utah to the Sunshine State, and get his tips to help local businesses withstand a hurricane and what you need to know before, during, and after a storm.
