Episode 19: How to give your website a mini-audit
04/26/22 • 23 min
You want to make sure that everything on the website is performing at its best and you're really giving the customer the best experience you can.
So the best way of doing it is to have what I call a mini-audit and just take some time to take a look and see everything from a customer perspective. So schedule probably half a day, maybe a full day into your calendar and go through your website as if you were your customer, put your customer hat on and just navigate it through the journey of your website to see what it's like to experience it for the first time and what the flow is like.
Here are 3 things to focus on:
1. Know what each piece of content and page is trying to achieve.
2. Make sure everything is clearly signposted and flows well.
3. Make sure everything is on-brand.
If you want more help with auditing your website then I offer this as a service. You can find out more here.
