Luc talks about his “Mad Men” roots and why advertising and design in Quebec are so unique. Plus, he shares how work for the government can get you on the international stage. C’est malade!
ABOUT OUR GUEST:
In 2004, Luc and his friends founded the Quebec City office of LG2. Since then, they've created a fun place to find great ideas. Luc has led his teams on many projects recognized on the national and international scene like Cannes, D&AD, London Internationals, One Show and Clios. I've also been lucky enough to sit on numerous amazing juries including Cannes, One Show and Clios.
Luc fell in love with creativity at 4 years old, when his dad brought home a storyboard for a TV spot. That passion continued to grow at Cossette where he worked on General motors, pharma accounts and McDonald’s. Now, Luc leads a group of many different talents who are brilliantly solving all sorts of problems for the Société de l'assurance automobile du Quebec, CAA, Beneva, Familiprix, Canac hardware, the Quebec government and the Quebec dairy board.
Luc has always been proud to contribute to the success of LG2, which is now the largest independent agency in Canada.
But more importantly, he will continue to create the way he always has - with the heart of a 4-year-old.

When everyone says no, don’t give up on your dreams [w/ Krystle Mullin]
Krystle’s story slash soon to be a Netflix series is a gripping tale of tenacity, eagles, and vodka roulette. From a master’s degree to scrappy (Windex-y??) career starts, she goes from being told she’s not good enough to becoming that agency’s CCO. This episode is unignorable.
ABOUT OUR GUEST:
Krystle Mullin is CCO at john st. and T&Pm Canada in Toronto. She returns to Canada’s advertising scene after being a Global ECD at Edelman and VP CD at RPA in Los Angeles. She’s been coined Ad Week’s Top 100, Strategy’s Top 10 Creative Directors in Canada and One Club’s Next Creative Leader. Her work has been recognized by, among others, D&AD, The One Show and Cannes Lions.

When you go west, young man [w/ Bryan Collins & Rob Sweetman]
Bryan and Rob talk advertising and design on the Left Coast, from their days in Calgary to launching an agency in Vancouver. Plus, plenty of discussion around Dick Pics (it’s pictures of dudes named Richard, mom!).
ABOUT OUR GUESTS:
Rob Sweetman and Bryan Collins are founders and Chief Creative Officers of ad and design agency ONE23WEST. They've been a creative team for over 20 years starting at various agencies that no longer exist in Calgary, then to Rethink during Vancouver's early years where they created many award winning campaigns including the bulletproof 3M transit shelter, and then successfully turned around the creative reputation of Cossette West, including winning the network's first One Show pencil.
