1661 What Is Keeping You Stuck?

When you want to move forward in chasing your dream, what is keeping you stuck? Part of living the life you love, both personally and professionally, requires confidence.
The confidence that keeps you going when you don't feel like. The confidence that stimulates creativity and productivity. The confidence that radiates brighter than a lighthouse on the darkness night.

When you want to do something specifically that tends to require your knowledge, you want to have that confidence; that certainty, the belief in your ability.
However, if you question or second guess yourself, the confidence waivers.
And when that happens, you get stuck!!
What is keeping you stuck?
A lack of confidence.
So how do you begin to find and to build confidence?
Confidence is not something that you create; it is experienced and given. Through your life's journey, you gather experiences and circumstances that impact how you see yourself. And that begins to shape your confidence.
We can't look to our accomplishments, our trophies, our titles, our careers, our children, or even our spouses.
It's in all these things and people we don't have control over. Because when we take all that away, what do we have that's left? Nothing, but a flawed system that fails us.
Confidence doesn't come from the scraps of this world. Confidence can't be made up by the reactions of the world. Nor can it be found in the stuff that you do.
Confidence is to know; it's the certainty of!
In order for you to live out God's purpose for your life, it's to know where your confidence comes from.
The K.I.S.S. ~ To K.N.O.W.!Your confidence comes from God. Your focus has to shift from the world to your Lord.
When you are searching for lies that gives you truth, it robs your very well-being of who you are.
Truth is found in your Creator. So to know is to be certain. That's confidence!
1. Know whose you are. You are a child of God.
“I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” Psalm 16:82. Nimble in mind. Quick and alert. Discerning and wise.
"Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD. The wise in heart are called discerning, and gracious words promote instruction" ~ Proverbs 16:20-21 "Walk with the wise and become wise." ~ Proverbs 13:203. Own what you can control. Don't overthink your capabilities. If God gave you the desire, He will prepare you and the way. Plus, don't worry about someone else's trash or truth.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." ~ Philippians 4:134. Wonderment of a child. This is your child-like faith.
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3So if you are chasing your dream, finishing your schooling, writing a book, being the BEST mom possible, leading your church; whatever it is...your confidence is to know the truth that withstands all the lies of this world.
Don't wait for perfection; God will provide the imperfection to build your dream.

Summer just started seven weeks ago. And now we are looking at the start of another school year.
What do you wish you could have started seven weeks ago?
We seem to become satisfied when our desires are fulfilled in an instant. Immediate gratification is the go-to. If we can't have it now, we move on.
What are you leaving behind when you move on?
I find it interesting how God trickles down what we need instead of bombarding us with everything all at once. We wouldn't know how to respond.
But with the world only a text apart, we seem to become more disjointed and disconnected to what is valuable and meaningful in our lives.
You are the only one who can limit your greatness.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Go and Do!You have extreme talents and extraordinary goals. Be present in your every day.
There are mornings that I wake up enthusiastic for what's to come. But by two o'clock in the afternoon, I've put out three fires regarding the children, made an extra trip back to the grocery store, and now sit nodding off on the couch.
All in a days work. But go and do? What have I done?
Not much. So why keep trying?
Only you can fulfill the passion in your heart. No one can live out that passion, your vision and mission like you have been called to go and do.
So why live amongst the excuses? Why stay tethered to familiarity and leave behind what is to be?
"Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments." ~ Jim RohnHowever, those goals and accomplishments won't sing your praises unless you go and do!
So let's be real! What is it that you really want?
You think, while I answer that question. I really want to launch AIM Academy; this incredible community of empowered women.
So what it yours? Instead of running away from what you want, go and do the littlest thing that scares you.
When you do the smallest of things that scare you, your courage is expanded, your dream is alive.
