08/21/20 • 81 min
Episode 78! This week J is drinking Lucas Winery's Lucas Blues wine, a dry white wine from the fingerlakes region of NY. K's having a good-old Canada Dry Ginger Ale after suffering a migraine for most of the day. This week we return to some get to know you better questions. Topics include: first pets, first concerts, food you don't understand why people like, the last shows we binge-watched, the strangest places we've fallen asleep...and more! K restarted (and restarted and restarted) her knitted shawl several times this week and J has been focused on writing essays instead of being creative. J is grateful for confirmation of her abilities and K is happy that her husband knows his way around cars. Wear a mask! Vote! Cheers!

Episode 77 - Anti-Road Rage
Episode 77! K's drinking some Saki this week and J's having a lemon seltzer. This week we talk about car accidents and people's inconsiderate reactions. Topics include: honking doesn't get you anywhere, the breakdown lane is not for driving, people in the accident are having a worse day than you, and just being a good human. J is still working on her sweater and K started her shawl project and has made progress on her counted cross stitch. J is grateful her first overnight on-call is done and K had a good experience at her doctor's office. Wear a mask over your nose AND mouth! And VOTE! Cheers!

Episode 79 - So You Say I'm "Essential"
Episode 79! Weâ€TMre joined this week by Kâ€TMs friend, Dan, to talk about being an essential worker during COVID. Dan works for I Heart Radioâ€TMs traffic division and we chat about many, many, many things including The Big Dig, geeking out about things we binge, traffic patterns during quarantine, ways mask-wearing has changed in-person interactions, and many, many more! So grab your favorite bev and kick back with us. J drinks a Seyval Blanc from our 1 year celebration at La Belle Winery, Danâ€TMs drinking Angry Orchard from a can, and Kâ€TMs having a (unfortunately named) Fume Blanc from California. Dan creates his own podcast, a real, grown-up, sponsored podcast, Geek Freak of the Week, on the I Heart Radio platform. Find Dan on Twitter @mazofradio! J is still creating her sweater. K is still creating her shawl (and has finally made progress!). Weâ€TMre grateful for new podcasts, The Batman trailer, and self-care “meâ€ days.
