Another decapod in the books! K's drinking a FrenchÂ rosÃ©(since y'all chose it!) that has nice berry flavors but dry and J's drinking Jen Pfeiffer'sÂ "Rock it like a Redhead" Rebel Sauvingon Blanc which has lovely citrus notes. We then hear from you all about what's bugging you, your responses to our episodes, and questions you have for us. Topics include: social media shaming, interactions, and annoyances; glasses up or down; the Lindas!; and parenting advice in times of social and economic upheaval (not that we're at all qualified to give it!). J's started a new blanket project and K is working on her crochet skills! K is happy for moments of self care and fun in the midst of stressful times and J is glad to have a change of pace and looking forward to starting something new. Cheers!

Episode 69! We are joined this week by our friend Ben, who lives in NYC and went to school with K & J! J is drinking Akiyoshi Chardonnay from California, K is drinkingÂ a Knapp Winery Vignoles semi-sweet wine from upstate NY, and Ben is having a French Pinot Noir. Today's topic is resurrected fashion trends that we can do without: proportions, high-waistedÂ shorts, high waters pants, 80's fashion, acid washed jeans, extreme ripped jeans, Abercrombie phase, scrunchies, VSCO girls, crocs, jumpsuits, pockets (or lack thereof), academic regalia, professional wear, and shoulder pads! We also have some denominational talk, Golden Girls love, and RuPaul's Drag Race possible bonus content. J made another piece of clothing for Nicholas the bear, K finished her lap blanket and made a lemon meringue pie, and Ben has been tapping in quarantine! Ben's grateful for students who check in, K is glad for direct conversations about returning to work, and J is thankful for friends' support in a difficult time. Cheers!

Episode 71! It's a long episode this week - so buckle in! We're joined by our friend Kaitie once again! Kaitie regails us with her story of deliveringÂ a baby at the beginning of the pandemic, being mistaken for having COVID, how awesome L&D nurses are, and the challenges of having a newborn when you can't see anyone else. We also divert to discussing Bon Appetit controversies and movies/tv shows/podcasts we're watching/listening to, including those that highlight Black experiences. Kaitie's been working on some new needlepoint crafts, K has a new puzzle project, and J continues work on the granny square blanket. J is excited for Hamilton to come out on Disney+, K is recovering from her rotator cuff injury well enough to be able to return to at-home workouts, and Kaitie finally has an outdoor space to enjoy!
