[S1E4] Is Weighing Coffee Just For Hipsters?
Nope!
Here's my pitch: If you use a recipe to cook or bake, why wouldn't you use a recipe for brewing coffee too? Recipes take out the guess work. And guess what...if you want to develop your coffee-making craft, weighing out your coffee to a specific coffee:water ratio takes out the guess work, especially for beginners!
Guess who's on the show? It's my bride of 12 years, Katie!
· Call to Action: Start figuring out your own coffee “recipe” for whatever way you are brewing hot coffee. This will require getting a gram-accurate scale if you don’t already have one. (<$10 on Amazon; to nearest 1g is fine) Use a 16:1 ratio on a batch this week and adjust from there. See what you think!
