In ep. 09 I'm joined by Kara Bussey of Glimpse Glass. The queen of floral wreaths, botanical moons and wearable stained glass crowns, she's a natural communicator from her decade working in communications. But now she’s now got her focus on communicating “how to” in her new book, stained glass for beginners. She’s also gone viral multiple times with stained glass videos - so we spend a lot of time chatting about what works for engagement in her posts and what doesn’t. But putting yourself out there in any way, whether it's a book, social media post or in my case, a podcast, can bring about anxiety and fear of judgement, and Kara very honestly shares with us her experience with that and where she is now on her journey of figuring it all out.
Join me as I crack it all wide open!
Watch us have our conversation and see the art, people and places we're speaking about on my youtube channel HERE.

It's The Halloween Queen and Your Favorite Yoni Witch with Sarah Fitzpatrick of Witch Way Glass Co
In preparation for ep. 08 and very special Halloween episode the Instagram poll people have spoken..! So many of you requested her, so today I'm getting chatty with Ontario witch and stained glass artist Sarah Fitzpatrick of Witch Way Glass Co. This self described kitchen witch makes predominately Halloween themed work all year round and it's CRAZY to me that she's only been doing glass for 3 years because her work is so good. Today she's going to share a few of her tips and hacks with us including how to make Etsy work for you and how to get those solder lines super shiny. We're also going to discuss how to deal with copycats with grace and kindness, and how her popular yoni pieces might make some of us a little uncomfortable at first...but it's all good because we're leaning into that feeling and the happy ending is a pretty sweet spot to be.

Fanning Out and Dropping In with Erin Murdock of Snip Glass
In ep. 10 I'm joined by Erin Murdock of Snip Glass. She has an extensive formal education under some of the greatest glass teachers at some of the greatest glass education centers, and she’s earned herself some serious clout with her awards, grants, and recognition.
Her skill shows in every piece she makes, whether it be one of her own impressive designs or her fan art. An avid fan of The Simpsons she’s creating a collection dedicated to honoring the TV show...but make no mistake, this isn’t your run of the mill chachkie merch. Her broad and deep understanding of glass technique, technical problem solving and attention to detail shines through in everything that comes out of her studio. Join me as I crack it all wide open!
