- If you see something, SAY something.
- Practice what you preach- allow yourself to see a problem in someone’s eyes and have a proper dialogue when appropriate to find common ground with people who think differently.
- Treat everyone with respect.
- Have that awkward conversation- with your friends and peers.
- Humbly Listen
- Use your power and influence to implement change, start with your own power alley and the things you can control.
- Partner with local non-traditional industry community based and diversity organizations
- Educate unrepresented groups about the industry and how they can obtain a career
- See, understand, and appreciate differences.
- Respond to the issue the same way you would on an issue that directly impacted your family.
- Open the door for opportunities to underrepresented groups.
